President’s Message

Welcome to the Cast Away Anglers Fishing Club Web page.

The Cast Away Anglers Fishing Club, which is a nonprofit organization, was founded in September of 2013 is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to encourage and assist those who desire to fish by rod and reel. Our club’s members are from the South Shore area and fish from piers, jetties and docks. They also wade fish and partner up with other members to fish from various types and sizes of boats. Our goal is to establish and maintain a sense of camaraderie by conducting various events and activities to involve as many members as possible.

It was important to have a club that would not be restricted by any organizational or community limitations. Accordingly, the selection of a meeting place was a major consideration. After weighing the options available to us, the club members selected the Elks Lodge as our official meeting place.

In addition to fishing, on a quarterly basis, we invite all members and spouses or significant others to meet at a designated eatery for comradely, fellowship and the telling of fish tales.

Feel free to stop by one of our meetings and see what we are all about.
